Wipro was always a BIG name, Right from my childhood, I dreamt of working with a big brand company like Wipro.I completed my graduation and then attended interviews at Wipro BPO,
I was on cloud nine when I was selected, though they paid very less salary out of excitement in getting selected for Wipro, I accepted the offer, 1st month was pretty enjoyable as we had extent of training.
I met many people who completed their engineering and they were selected by Wipro through campus selections, the salary was less than a house keeping guy. In the year 2015 they were paying RS.7500 take home salary. Soon after we hit the floor in the 2nd month the company started showing the true colors, their heavy shift of 9.5 hours and non-stop back to ball calling(We were selected as Tech Support for one of the major Laptop Manufacturers).
The worst thing was being a tech support they expected as to make highly unreached Sales which was of more burden. The cab facility was free but again had many issues, The up and down journey used to take more than 4 hours and 10 hours of heavy shift so 14-15 hours of heavy torture per day that too for a meagre salary of less than 8k. Many people started absconding the company, few people underperformed intentionally and were terminated with proper relieving.
I was really in a need of job and so didn’t give up, I am guy with a string will but after 7-8 months the water was above my head and I absconded the company. Now after absconding the company sent me few warning letters to pay some amount as I absconded without informing them, My salary was 7500 and they expected me to pay back 7800 for final settlement, Why would someone pay the money? Indeed they should pay my 21 days salary which they didn’t credit. After 6 months I got a legal notice from Delhi’s Law Firm asking me to pay back the amount or they would sue me.
I already lost my PF amount and 21 days of salary but still they didn’t spare me.My sincere advice, Please Please Please don’t join Wipro BPO and by chance if your friends get selected advise them not to work, Don’t ruin your lives .I wanted to give -Infinite rating but sadly I could only give 1 star.
